Money Saving Blogs - How One Family Learned to Save Money on Gas and Groceries!

It has been a long time since I paid under $2 on a gallon of gas . How? Well, if you live in an area where the unemployment rate is up 15%, businesses moving out or closing because there's not enough business, you learn to save money where you can. If you live in Michigan then you know what I am talking about.

We do most of our shopping at Krogers so we can, not only save on groceries but also save money on gas. Every time we shop at Krogers we rack up points towards our saving on 4 fill-ups a month. Last month we racked up enough points to save .50 a gallon for this month so, last night my wife and I saved money on gas by only paying $1.87 a gallon.

Yeah, I'm bragging but it's all good! It makes me feel good that we can still get through the tuff times. When I see people fill-up their tanks at $2.37 a gallon I just want to stop and tell them how they can save money by shopping at Krogers.
