This week is the same add as last week Purchase any 8 Participating products and get $4 OFF! But before I get started I would like to tell you a story about what happen last week.

My wife and I stopped at the Kroger store we shop at to purchase some items that were on sale. The wife handed me the coupons to use and gave me directions as to which items to get. It seems kind of odd to just get a few items but I did as she asked.

After getting the items i was told to get I headed up to cash out. The clerk behind the register looked new but seemed to know what he was doing. After he rang up everything and took the $4 OFF and the coupons the register said he owed me $1.74. Now we as couponers know that Krogers won't pay us the $1.74 and I wasn't really thinking because I was watching the look on the tellers face. He didn't know what to do even when I explained to him that he owed me nothing. But he called over the manager anyways and I was released without paying a dime.

I thought the look on the clerks face was funny because he thought he did something wrong. He thought I had to pay something.

Also the lesson I learned was to add another item like, a candy bar or another 2 liter to cover the $1.74 because it just goes to Kroger's as free money.
